Aunty Rosalie Kickett never imagined she'd help men in prison with their mental health.

But after taking on a role to help more than 540 people incarcerated at Acacia Prison, she is only full of compassion.

Her passion and talent for building resilience in people helped her be recognised as Female Elder of the Year at the National NAIDOC Awards 2025.
