The WA Seniors Card is your reward for the ongoing contribution you've made to the community. To become a proud cardholder and access a world of rewards and discounts, you'll need to meet the following criteria:
1. Age
If you were born before 1 July 1959, you can apply for a WA Seniors Card at 64 years old. For those born after 30 June 1959, you'll need to be 65 years old to qualify.
The following table indicates the age applicants must be to apply for the WA Seniors Card, depending on your date of birth:

2. Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency
You're eligible if you're an Australian Citizen or hold an Australian Permanent Resident Visa. Certain visa holders should refer to our Terms and Conditions for more details.
3. Reside in Western Australia
Make sure you reside in Western Australia or spend more than half the year in the state. Permanent residence outside of Western Australia isn't allowed.
4. Working Hours
You must work 25 hours or less per week in paid employment. For casual or seasonal workers, we'll calculate your eligibility based on your average working hours over the past 12 months.

Once you receive your card, you won't need to renew it. However, please inform the WA Seniors Card Centre if you change your address or lose your card.
